Choosing an industrial radio remote:
what to check first.

A few practical details can make product discussions clearer and help your team compare suitable control options.

A radio remote control should suit the machine, its operating sequence and the people using it. Before comparing models, gather the information that helps confirm compatibility and configuration.

Start with these five checks

  1. Machine and motions. Note the equipment type and every movement or auxiliary function that needs control.
  2. Control layout. Consider the number of buttons, single- or double-speed commands, and whether proportional joystick control is needed.
  3. Receiver and interface. Record the existing receiver or control-panel details, supply requirements and any replacement constraints.
  4. Working conditions. Describe indoor or outdoor use and relevant dust, moisture, temperature and operating-distance needs.
  5. Safety and support. Identify the machine’s required stopping and interlocking functions, and plan for qualified installation, validation and ongoing support.

Then compare the product families

The TTF21 Series, TTF23 Series, TTF24 Series and TTQ Series offer different button and control formats. Their exact features vary by model, so treat an overview as a starting point—not a replacement for the current model documentation.

Bring your equipment details and existing model information to the discussion. Our team can help identify which questions to resolve before you choose a control.
